Insurance for the Self Employed

Since the economic down turn began in December of 2007, record number of jobs have been lost.  In January of 2009, CNN Money.com reported the worst year for jobs since World War II.  In 2009 Lawrence Mishel, president of the Economic Policy Institute stated, "the total number of unemployed Americans rose by 632,000 to 11.1 million and in February 2010, CNNmoney.com reported another 800,000 jobs disappeared.  Many people who were laid off and couldn't find work have decided to work from home, either full time or to supplement income.  There are safety nets you should consider if you are one of those who work from home.  1. Health Insurance, 2. Disability insurance, 3. Liability Insurance, 4. Home based Business Insurance. 5. Internet (Business Insurance)and 6. Business Owner's Policy.  I'll get into each one a little more through out the week.
