State Mandated Minimum Limits Change
Minimum limits for Bodily Injury Liability (BI) and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) are now 30/60; minimum limits for Property Damage will remain at 25.

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) requires that all policies—both those currently in force and new policies—use these new limits effective Jan. 1, 2011. In the past, limits changes have been incorporated onto existing policies at renewal.
