I'm sure that the the 15 year old gunman's parent's didn't anticipate their child would be dead that evening when he left for school that day. I'm talking about the young man in Wisconsin who held a class hostage and then shot himself when the police finally entered the classroom. According to the Associated Press, Keith Schroeder, a former Marinette middle school teacher, said "He's a fine young man, and I'm totally taken aback. He also said, "It doesn't fit any of the things or the molds that you read about people. I couldn't say enough good things about the family." Here was a supposedly good family that no one would even consider something like this being caused by one of their children. It is even a kind of morbid thing to think that your child will be held hostage at school, or even die because they are at school. I started thinking that most parents probably don't even have life insurance policies for their children. I mean why even consider it right - wrong obviously wrong! Without going totally morbid- here is some food for thought! If you have a life insurance policy on yourself, get a child rider endorsed to the policy. It is the least expensive way to add a child to a life insurance policy that you already have. If you don't have a life insurance policy, you should call us. Seriously, call us!
